The paint job consisted of prepping, priming, and application of ScuffMaster Solid Metal metallic finish coat in a custom color. We painted the new ceiling, the wall where the three planters are shown as well as the columns being shown. The existing columns were a sterile raw stainless steel. After multiple mock-ups of the custom color and finish the selection was made and we fulfilled our obligation of installing this custom sprayed metallic finish. The effect as one can see is a much warmer and inviting lobby. Feedback has been very positive with comments like “elegance, high end, and inviting” punctuating this new lobby’s appearance.
The marble walls remained as is adding a level of design concern of finding a custom finish that would marry well with the existing marble walls. Hester was involved throughout the finish design process with the interior designer.
